Patchouli Essential Oil

Sourced from Java, Indonesia, this Patchouli Essential Oil brings an earthy and woody depth shaped by green, gently camphoraceous, smoky, and balsamic facets.

At trace levels, it adds shadow and texture without becoming immediately recognisable. It can deepen rose, ground white florals, temper the sweetness of gourmand materials, or give greater dimension to woody and amber compositions. Used more prominently, patchouli becomes the central character: earthy, meditative, and distinctly long-lasting.

Its role extends beyond the familiar idea of patchouli as a dark base note. It creates continuity through the heart and base, supports more volatile materials, and gives the drydown greater weight and persistence.
