Ambroxan Pure

Ambroxan has a quiet presence that can reshape an entire composition. Its profile is dry, warm, and woody, with an ambergris-like character softened by mineral, musky, and subtly sweet nuances.

Rather than simply making a fragrance feel heavier, Ambroxan creates space and diffusion. It can lift the opening, give volume through the heart, and leave a smooth, persistent trail in the drydown. This contrast—radiance with exceptional substantivity—is what makes it one of modern perfumery’s most versatile structural materials.

Use it to bring clarity to woody and amber compositions, soften the transition between contrasting materials, or add a polished skin-like warmth without introducing obvious sweetness. At higher levels, Ambroxan can become the central character: abstract, mineral, and distinctly contemporary.

KSA supplies Ambroxan in its pure crystalline form. It may be weighed directly into a compound or prepared as a dilution for easier evaluation and handling. Gentle warming may be required to dissolve the crystals completely.
